Mirabelle Classic 2026 🇫🇷 (1.2) WE – Jarny – Bouxières-aux-Chênes : 108 km
Mirabelle Classic is a UCI 1.2 one-day women’s road race through the rolling countryside of Lorraine, combining open agricultural roads, wooded sections, short climbs and fast connecting roads. The course typically features a mixture of gently undulating terrain and sharper ramps, with gradients generally around 4–8% and occasional steeper sections creating brief, high-intensity efforts. Narrow rural lanes, frequent bends and changes in road width make positioning important, particularly before climbs and technical passages. Open farmland can expose the peloton to crosswinds, while damp conditions can affect grip on corners and descents. Racing can begin with early breakaway attempts before the field settles into a controlled pursuit, with repeated climbs gradually stretching the group. Counterattacks can form when riders move between the front of the peloton and established breaks, while flatter roads allow groups to regroup. As the finish approaches, positioning becomes increasingly important and the pace can rise sharply. The race can conclude with a reduced-group sprint, a late attack or a small breakaway reaching the finish.
