Track Cycling New Years Ballerup 2025 🇩🇰 – Ballerup Super Arena, Denmark
Sunday the 28th In December 2025, DBC Ballerup will once again hold the traditional New Year’s event, where the 100 km pair race for Men’s Elite is the main course. There will be cycling races in U11/13, U15, Talent, Women and Men’s elite. By nr. 7 at the gentlemen will be Lasse Norman Leth and Tobias Aagaard Hansen, presented by Lundbak og Hansen. They’re ready for a rematch against the winner of the DBC Ballerups 3-day race, Robin Skivild and Conrad Haugsted, presented by JMV Cabels and P.O. Auto. This will be the DBC Ballerups 9th edition of the New Year’s convention.
DBC Ballerup .. Amalie Dideriksen has just won the women’s points race over 30 laps.
The Danish star forms a pair with the great talent Ida Fialla in pair number 7 in the Women’s elite field at the New Years event – and so far the pair has made a clean sweep.
In the initial pair elimination race, Amalie Dideriksen and Ida Fialla themselves won.
There’s also been races in the Talent Field. Here, the brother couple Kasper and Nikolaj Solsbæk won in pair number 3 in the pair race, while pair number 10 with Rasmus Jespersen Helt Hansen and Rasmus Lodahl grabbed the victory in the pair race over 80 laps.
DBC Ballerup .. Couple number 13 triumphed in the New Years event after a blast of a competition of over 100 kilometers!
Couple number 13 emerged triumphant.
Conrad Haugsted and Robin Skivild won at the traditional New Year’s event over 100 kilometers in Ballerup Super Arena on Sunday night after a whirlwind race.
Right from the start, the pedals were taken. However, it was quickly clear that the strong couple number 13 with Robin Skivild and Conrad Haugsted had intended to repeat the triumph of the 3-day race, where they took the victory in an impressive way. However, the 13s got fierce competition from the strong 9ers with Niklas Larsen and Carl-Frederik Bévort, who also reached out for the victory.
The two strong couples quickly took a lap on the remaining part of the field, and therefore the 7s with Lasse Norman Leth and Tobias Aagaard, among other things, had to chase quickly to get to lap height. However, the 7s never reached lap height, because about halfway into the race with just over 200 laps to the finish line, the 13s grabbed another lap on the competitors and thus left themselves alone in the lead of the 100 kilometer race.
Along the way in the 100 kilometer race we also got a bit of a roar of cheering, which eased it when the mere 15-year-old great talents Valdemar Wagner and Johan Andersen in pair number 5 managed to drive around alone and take a lap on the rest of the field. An incredible achievement by the two debutants in the elite field, who received huge applause from the audience.
However, no one could touch the victory of the superb 13ers, and Robin Skivild and Conrad Haugsted controlled the race more and more the further we got into it. In the end, the pair could therefore take another big victory and drive across the finish line as winners in the New Years Race 2025. Pair number 9 grabbed second place while there was drama at the very end about the last place on the podium, with pair number 7 in the final stretch securing third place.
During the evening, the ladies were of course also in action on the brown wooden beams in the Ballerup Super Arena. In pairs division, the strong 7ers with the great talent Ida Fialla and Amalie Dideriksen won in superb style, while Amalie Dideraksen also grabbed the victory in the point race over 30 laps. In the pairs race over 100 laps, the 7s again showed class and put the competitors to the wall Swiss Michelle Andres and Petra Ševčíková from the Czech Republic in pair number 2 grabbed second place and pair number 1 with Isabella Escalera and Eva Anguela rounded off the podium.
The talents were also in action this evening in Ballerup, where there were several disciplines on the menu at the Talent Field. In pairs division, the two cousins Kasper Solsbæk and Nikolaj Solsbær in pair number 3 grabbed the victory. However, in the pair race over 80 laps, it was pair number 10 with Rasmus Jespersen Helt Hansen and Rasmus Lodahl, who won and thus could be honored at the finish line and receive the applause of the audience.
