The 76th edition of the VDL Groep Omloop der Kempen will take place on Sunday 18 May 2025. This cycling classic, which has been held since 1948, is the oldest in the Netherlands. Every year, Veldhoven – together with the many Kempen villages through which the race passes – is the setting for this top sporting event for weeks. And that is not without reason. The Omloop der Kempen has a rich history, filled with heroic battles and historic victories. The long and impressive list of honours underlines the status of this race as a must for ambitious cyclists and team leaders. In addition, it is an important benchmark for (international) scouts of professional teams, always looking for new talent. At 12:00 the starting shot will sound for a 180 kilometre race . In 2025 the VDL Groep Omloop der Kempen will again be part of the Holland Cup , a competition for Dutch UCI races.
