The Guerrita Trophy – Juan Romero and Diego Sánchez Memorial ( Trofeo Guerrita ) is a Spanish cycling race held around Alcantarilla , Murcia . Created in 1990 , it is part of the Spanish Amateur Cup calendar .
The Elite-U23 Spanish Cup will enjoy this coming Sunday, March 16, the third scoring event of its 2025 calendar, the prestigious Guerrita Trophy , which will have the start and finish, as usual, in the town of Alcantarilla (Murcia).
The Guerrita Cycling Club (Peña Ciclista Guerrita) will be organizing the race on Sunday with a 173 km route featuring five climbs . The first 11 km will be on an urban circuit, with two laps, each with a flying finish line (km 4 and 9). The peloton will then head towards Sierra Espuña, passing through Barqueros, Fuente Librilla, and Pliego via the Alto del Cinto (3rd), Alto de Espuña (3rd), and Alto de la Perdiz (1st). After the descent, the riders will pass through the Alto de Gebas (3rd) and again through the Alto del Cinto (3rd), before returning along the same route to Alcantarilla, where the third flying finish line will be held (km 147). The final 25 km of the race will include the non-scoring Alto de Belén and a quick approach to the finish line in Alcantarilla.
