Circuit des Plages Vendéennes 2026 🇫🇷 (1.12.1) ME – Stage 6 – Commequiers – Pays de Saint Gilles : 159,1 km
For nearly four decades, the Circuit des Plages Vendéennes has established itself as one of the major cycling events on the national calendar. Created in 1987, this emblematic competition gathers the elite of men’s and women’s cycling every year and is open to professional categories, offering a prime stage for both established talents and future champions. For the 2026 edition, the event will span six days of competition, bringing together between 150 and 170 riders ready to battle across demanding courses shaped by the landscapes of Vendée—ranging from the coastline and sea winds to the marshes.
The Grand Finale – The 6th and final stage will be contested around Commequiers, on a 26.59 km circuit passing through Saint-Maixent-sur-Vie and Coëx, to be completed several times. As with last season, this closing stage will take place in the Pays de Saint-Gilles, the traditional setting for a final that is always fiercely contested. On a fast yet demanding course, accumulated fatigue will take a heavy toll, and the slightest mistake could prove decisive.
